Operating System
1. Press the Windows key and enter System Information on the search bar, and open it.
2. In the System Information window, you can find the Generation details of your laptop.
Task Manager
1. First, press the Windows key, type Task Manager, and open it. You can also open Task Manager using the keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + Alt + Delete → Task Manager or Ctrl + Shift + Escape.
2. Next, click Performance on the top.
3. Finally, you can see the laptop generation on the top right above the graph.
Properties Menu
If you are a Windows 10 user, you can find the generation with just a click.
1. Right-click on My Computer or This PC and click Properties.
2. Finally, you can see the laptop generation under System.
Direct X
1. On your keyboard, press Windows + R to open the Run command window.
