Like Netflix, Disney Plus has introduced an ad-tier plan and a price hike in the current ad-free and bundle plans. The changes may force some subscribers to cancel their Disney Plus subscription. Earlier, Sling TV raised its price by $5/month.
The new changes will be applicable on December 8, 2022. If you want, sign up for the annual membership before December 8 to save money for the next year. The newly rolled-out Ad-tier subscription costs $7.99/month and $79.99/year.
Currently, the cost of the Disney Plus dd-free tier is $7.99 per month, and it will go up to $10.99 per month. Meanwhile, the Disney Plus Bundle plan, which costs $13.99 per month, is going up to $14.99 per month.
Unfortunately, The bundle plan without ads will not available for new subscribers after December 7. Instead, they bring two new plans, Disney Bundle Duo Basic ($9.99 per month) and Disney Bundle Trio Basic ($12.99 per month). Existing customers cannot access this bundle subscription plan. Only new users can access these Duo and Trio plans.
Yet another new bundle, which includes Disney Plus along with ESPN Plus and Hulu, costs $12.99 per month. The price of the bundle plan with no ads will remain the same at $19.99 per month. Unfortunately, the developers have not rolled out the free trial on Disney+ plans or bundles.
