Discovery Network has recently launched a streaming service called Discovery Plus or Discovery+. It streams content from various channels like HGTV, Food Network, TLC, OWN, Magnolia Network, Discovery, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, A&E, History, Lifetime, DIY Network, Science Channel, The Dodo, and Discovery+ Originals. With this platform, you can watch all the new episodes once they were aired. The subscription costs around $4.99 per month (with ads) and $6.99 per month (without ads). Discovery Plus is widely supported on various platforms, and the following section will show you the steps to install it on TiVo Stream 4K, one of the streaming devices running an Android-based OS.
Before installing the app, visit the Discovery Plus official site and sign up for the plan that you want. You can’t stream Discovery+ for free. For new users, Discovery Plus will offer a 7-day free trial.
Discovery Plus on TiVo Stream 4K
Discovery Plus is officially downloadable on TiVo Stream 4K only. The support is not available for TiVo models.
Step1 – Turn On your TiVo Stream device.
Step2 – Hover to home screen and click on Apps > Get More options.
Step3 – From the search result, click on the app’s icon.
Step4 – Click on Get or Install option. Wait for a few minutes until the app was installed on your device.
Step5 – Once installed, Discovery+ logo will appear in the Apps section.
Step6 – Now, launch the app that you installed and Log In with your Discovery+ login credentials (email id & password).
Upon signing in, you will have access to all the Discovery Plus contents on the TiVo Stream 4K device. If you’re a Verizon user, you can get one year of Discovery Plus on the selected Unlimited plans.
