How to Delete TextNow Account
As we said earlier, there is no direct option to delete the account within the app or website. Hence, you need to unlink all the data from the server.

Cancel TextNow Subscription
If you have subscribed to TextNow premium subscription, canceling it is essential when you don’t want to use the service anymore.
[1] Open the TextNow app and select the Phone & Plans option on the home page.
[2] Select Manage Subscription.
[3] Click the Cancel My Subscription button to unsubscribe from the plans you’ve subscribed to.
Remove Your Data From TextNow Account
[1] By using a PC or smartphone web browser, visit the TextNow official website.
[2] Click the login button and provide the required login credentials.
[3] Next, select the Settings icon on the left side menu pane and choose the Accounts option.
[4] Here, you will see the First Name, Last Name, Email, Mobile Number, etc.
[5] Edit all those details to some random data and save the changes.
[6] Now, go to Security and Login and click the Log out of all devices to ensure that your account is not synced on any device.
Remove Payment Details from TextNow
After removing the personal details, you must remove the bank credentials from your account.
[1] Go to TextNow.com from the browser and select the My Account section.
[2] Select the Payment option and then click Payment Methods.
[3] Finally, tap the Remove button to remove your payment details from the TextNow account.
Uninstall TextNow App
[1] On your device, find the TextNow application.
[2] Long press and hold the app icon for a few seconds.
[3] You will get the X button or Uninstall option. Click on it.
[4] That’s it. Your TextNow app will get uninstalled from your smartphone.
After uninstalling the app, don’t log in to your account on the app or web browser for the next three days. The phone number will get expires automatically. Since you have removed the credentials from the account, all your data will remain safe.
